Bladder and Bowel problems

The pelvic floor muscles are at the base of the pelvis.  These muscles support and control the bladder and bowel and play a part in normal sexual function.

Weakness of the pelvic floor muscles can result in the following symptoms:

  • Leaking on coughing, lifting, getting up from a chair or other types of exertion
  • Increased frequency and urgency to empty the bladder
  • Poor control of wind
  • Difficulty controlling your bowels
  • Erectile problems
